Right-Click "Copy link address" fails in some circumstances (1 reply)

Using Google Chrome on Windows.

If you right click a link in Chrome and select "Copy Link Address", if there are certain characters, the copy/paste into FRD will fail as it transposes these characters with the hex % versions.

Eg: 
https://mega.co.nz/#!ap4E1RDI!-UA3HeIG_2odhIoJH1ZGbCscB3DQAGXB1n8281ZQIFg

this becomes: 
https://mega.co.nz/#%21ap4E1RDI%21-UA3HeIG_2odhIoJH1ZGbCscB3DQAGXB1n8281ZQIFg

The "!" character gets transposed to "%21" and then FRD fails.

Could these be handled in some way?

bylo by možné udělat rychlý přístup do nastaveni konkrétního pluginu kliknutím na jeho ikonu v seznamu stahovaných souborů?
nebo to alespoň přidat tuto možnost do kontextové nabídky?

nejčastěji to potřebuju hlavně při stahování multimediálních streamů a před každým stahováním absolvovat "nastavení, možnosti, pluginy a rolování jejich seznamem" abych zjistil, co tam mam za kvalitu od posledně, je trochu nuda 8-)

Greetings! I've added over 12,000 links to the queue, the program crashed and now when I start it again, it freezes and do nothing. What can I do?

Freerapid hangs in win 8.1 64-bit. After opening the Freerapid must be closed/end task using task manager.

System is up to date java and OS.

FRD nejde spustit (no replies)

Ještě včera mi FRD normálně fungoval a dnes nejde spustit. Zkoušel jsem všechno možné, ale vždy zamrzne po zobrazení úvodní obrazovky a dál se nic neděje. Vypnout jde jen ve správci úloh ukončením procesu Java TM Platform SE binary (32 bitů). Mám W8.1.

I have frd 0.9u4
Frd stop on splash screen, and dont go on to start and show main window.
I remove dir C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\VitySoft and frd have start normaly.
I close frd, and start again, again stop on splash.
In summary remove dir have help for one start.
Who know how fix that possible post here.

Ok so I'm not a newbie. I have had a similar problem before but I was able to research and find a solution. But now I am just stuck. And my memory sucks! Main problem is my frd not wanting to work with Java. I have turned off antivirus and tried to download that way. I even clicked the right boxes (at least I think they were the right boxes). In any case as I have said I have been able to fix before. First it said I didnt have Java installed so when I go to reinstall I get an error message 1638 which after more research tells me that it is already installed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted all to no avail. Where it stands now is when I try to open frd it says I need to have Java version 1. something or other. if I click on the executable jar file to open it, It freezes and wont go anywhere else. When I click on the frd application file it opens for a few seconds and closes immediately. As I have said I have had a similar problem before but I have ALWAYS been able to fix it. But now I am totally lost. So please help??

I remembered what I did that broke my frd...My daughter has been on my laptop alot and when I got it back this morning the whole thing froze on me so I opened the task manager and had to close everything out including my Java. So now Java wont work at all in my frd. help????

Downloads keep failing even though links are valid (1 reply)

Hi -

Long time user of FRD. A number for months ago (I don't remember, but I'll say 6-12) I suddenly started getting failed downloads for otherwise valid links using a paid Rapidgator.net and a paid Uploaded.to account. Sometimes the failures would happen right away, sometimes they would download some, and then fail. Quite often if I retry enough times I can get a given link to download. But unfortunately like the other day where I was downloading several 1GB links, there was no chance because of how often they fail. It *may* happen more when I download 5 at a time (vs. 1), but I'm not certain of that. Free links from other sites usually work OK, but I'm always only downloading one at a time and they're small files. I've tried from a couple different computers, and I get the same thing. However when I manually download 5 large files at a time from either site just through my web browser, they work perfectly 100% of the time.

Any ideas what could be going on? I would have no problem reproducing this issue if there were logs, screenshots, etc. that someone needed to look into this. If there's additional info I can provide, I'd be happy to. I can even take a video showing the problem occur.

FreeRapid stopping after download (12 replies)

Hello,

For several weeks, when I put several files to download on Free Rapid, when it finish one file, it stops. The next file is not starting... It happens on 1fichier.com plugin (I didn't tried with an other). And it happens randomly... Sometimes it goes on the next one, sometimes not.
any idea of the problem?

Im having some random mess while sorting by date. Any fix on the matter.?

A little background info:
issue: while wanting to sort by date the dates get messed up and are not aligned ascending or descending (properly). It would seem that im actually sorting by "service" or host, rahter than on the date.

Java version: Java version 8 update 45 (build 1.8.0_45-b14)

FRD plugin settings not saved with Java 1.6.0.45 (2 replies)

Once i upgraded my Java to the latest 6 version 1.6.0.45, the plugin settings are not being saved.
When I reopen the FRD again, plugins use their default settings again.
The FRD itself stores its "main" settings OK, the problem applies only to (all) plugins.

Has anyone this kind of problem, or a tip to solve it?

FreeRapid + Nero Burning Rom = FreeRapid Crash (6 replies)

I use Nero at my work. Whenever i start Nero, burn some disc and exit Nero, FreeRapid crashes.

No error messages, just closing itself.

I used @#$%& some time ago, this problem happened and i want to try FreeRapid.

There is a hs_err_pid6332.log file, i just uploaded at: [kl1p.com]

Final Java version is installed. There is no other (older) versions.

My user have Administrator privileges.

check file existence before the captcha prompt (1 reply)

It seems that the file check happens after requesting the captcha? i.e. the file is skipped after I entered the captcha because filename already exists; therefore, I will have to wait for another count down even though the download never happened.

Can this behaviour be changed?

File check should happen before the captcha prompt, so it doesn't count toward the quota.

I don't know if I am clear enough to be understood...

Hi I have a problem with FRD. When I add a links they wont show as progress but will download. Im running it on Ubuntu with xfce with latest Oracle Java on VNC.

Is it possible somewhere in the config files or by modifying the main program (where exactly?) to increase the wait period between downloads from 4 seconds to a higher value?
Our ISP prohibits long consecutive downloads, so I need to increase the period between downloads to a higher value (couple of minutes).
